ABOUT US
Barcode is a web portal for the sole promotion of electronic music and associated genres.
Conceived in 1999, Barcode formerly existed as a printed magazine available from major London branches of Tower Records. In 2002, it was decided to move our presence onto the Web. Since then, Barcode has achieved a steady increase of visitors as the website has increased in popularity. By the summer of 2005, the website was averaging 22,000 unique hits per month.
Barcode strives to ensure that all of our reviews are well-researched, credible and unbiased. Barcode also interviews industry artists and has written in-depth freelance articles for a
number of highly regarded printed publications.
Barcode is also an affiliate of NewsNow, the UK's leading online press monitoring company. NewsNow redirects all reviews via a live feed to a massive
audience of users in 139 countries.
